This is a simple water sensor that can be used to detect soil moisture. The module outputs a high level when there is a soil moisture deficit, and a low level when the soil moisture exceeds a set threshold value. It can be used in a plant waterer device, allowing plants in your garden to be managed without the need for human intervention.

Instructions for Use: The soil moisture module is highly sensitive to ambient humidity and is generally used to detect the moisture content of the soil. When the soil humidity exceeds the set threshold value, the module’s digital output (D0) goes low; otherwise, it remains high. You can connect the digital output (D0) directly to a microcontroller to detect soil moisture levels. The digital output (DO) can also be used to drive a relay module or a buzzer module to create a soil moisture alarm system. Additionally, the analog output (AO) can be connected to an analog-to-digital (AD) converter to obtain more precise values of soil moisture. This module is also compatible with electronic games, electronic building blocks, Arduino designs, and more.
